Time was really this recipe's friend. The flavor got much better with some age.
Now - from the tasting, surprising results...surprising, at least, to me.
Jeds batch (liquid extract) and my batch (all grain, batch sparge) tasted exactly the same. And I mean really the same...as in you wouldn't be able to tell which glass you were drinking from.
Greg's batch, BIAB tasted different. Spicier. Greg said he boiled 90 minutes...but I don't have a clue why BIAB or 30 minutes more boiling would make the beer spicier.
Anyway....all three were tasty...Much better after 2 months in the bottle. I'd brew this again.
